Installation
Professional Installation
AFD systems are installed as a permanent safety feature of your home, connected to your main water supply.
In the event of a power failure, BC Wildfire and local fire departments can easily connect to the system, safely allowing higher pressure and volumes of water.
During installation, you can be confident that all due diligence has been met and you have a system that is ready to go at a moment's notice. Our experienced and skilled installers will ensure you get the system that offers the most protection for you; not only protecting your home and its contents in the present, but adding value to your home for the future.
Control Box
All AFD systems come with a weather resistant, tamper proof, outdoor control box that houses a manual on/off valve, and connection for fire services. A wifi enabled valve can be added at an additional cost, allowing you to turn your system on remotely.
The fire services connection also allows you to hook up a pump from a separate water source in the even of power failure. Additionally, this connection can be utilized for outbuildings with an AFD system, but no water via firehose.
All systems come standard with a winterization port for yearly maintenance, All piping will remain empty of water until the need of protection.
